DESCRIPTION:Founded in 1849\, Children's Friend\, now an affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation\, is the oldest child and family service agency in central Massachusetts\, serving children and families in 51 communities. The Big Dipper started over 20 years ago as an ice cream social for our adoptive families. Today\, the Big Dipper has become a community-wide all-day event filled with family fun activities\, provided through the generosity of our sponsors and volunteers. Annually\, we have over 3\,000 people attending this event from communities throughout the Greater Worcester area. Admission can be purchased the day of the event. If you would like to send a volunteer team to work at the Dipper (It's great fun!) or if you have any questions\, please contact 508-459-6424 or info@childrensfriend.org. We are excited for this year's Big Dipper and look forward to seeing you on Saturday\, June 23rd!
