As adults\, it's only when we stumble in our efforts to communicate\, or are exposed to an individual who is having difficulty communicating with us\, do we begin to understand the complexity of the process.\n\n\n\nThis one-hour seminar will explore:\n\n-the problems/issues you currently face regarding communication in your organization\;\n\n-the relevance of communication in business\;\n\n-the components of communication\, including the process\, modes\, obstacles and strategies\;\n\n-the "used car" concept as it applies to company employees\; and\,\n\n-your role in addressing all the issues identified.\n\nAbout the Presenter: Peter Tamulis\n\nCenter for Workforce Development and Continuing Education\, Quinsigamond Community College\n\nPeter has over 40 years' experience in the field of training and development. He has worked for the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission as a Staff Development Supervisor and the Commission for the Blind as an Assistant Commissioner. He has worked in the manufacturing sector with experience in quality improvement efforts\, competency development\, coaching and supervisory/management development. Peter was the Chief Learning Officer for the Seven Hills Foundation\, a private non-profit human service agency with over 3000 employees.\n\nPrior to retirement\, Peter worked in the Workforce Development and Continuing Education Center assisting businesses in a variety of industries in assessing employee training needs and developing training programs. Currently\, Peter continues to lend his expertise at the college on a part-time basis with grant management and interpersonal and supervisory/management training delivery.
