DESCRIPTION:Pop Up Yoga: Full Moon Yin Yoga This program will be held indoors in one of our well-ventilated classrooms. Group size will not exceed current state restrictions. Thursday\, January 28\, 2021\, 6:00-7:15 PM Instructor: Mandi Garrison Bask in the moonlight and calm your nervous system with a nourishing yin practice. Yin yoga involves deep stretching on the floor with gentle poses typically held for 3-5 minutes. The muscular relaxation involved in a yin practice helps to target joints\, fascia\, and connective tissue\; it is wonderful for circulation\, flexibility\, balance\, and reducing stress. The practice may include some gentle warm-ups\, as well as centering and guided relaxation. Mandi is an experienced 500-hour Kripalu yoga instructor and a yoga practitioner for nearly 20 years. Her calming and intuitively guided classes aim to provide energetic balance and a refuge from the hectic activities of daily life. Mandi's background begins with the rich practices of Iyengar\, Vinyasa\, Yin\, Restorative\, and Kundalini yoga -- and expands to specialize in intuitive sequencing\, seasonal yoga practices\, yoga for special populations\, and guiding pranayama\, meditation\, and relaxation.
