DESCRIPTION:Event Name: Therapeutic Horticulture Thursdays -2 Week Session Event Date(s): Thursday\, 6/17/2021\, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM\, 1 hour\, 30 minutes Thursday\, 6/24/2021\, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM\, 1 hour\, 30 minutes Instructor: Deborah Krause This program consists of two sessions. When registering\, please make sure both sessions are selected. Take deep breaths\, slow down and leave your "to do" list behind during Therapeutic Horticulture Thursdays with Registered Horticultural Therapist Deborah Krause. This months theme will be floral arrangements. Together you will create beautiful floral arrangements and learn about the therapeutic value of horticulture to decrease stress\, focus attention and foster hope\, by working with colorful flowers\, foliage with amazing textures and fragrant herbs that provide rich input for our senses. You will design and make a different arrangement each week\, while learning basic floral arranging techniques. Information will be shared on plants you can easily grow for your own unique summer arrangements. $75 Member Adult\; $90 Adult (Registration includes admission to the Garden) Additional Program Information All materials will be provided. You will take home a flower arrangement each week. Please note\, there is currently construction happening at Tower Hill\, which may result in altered or obstructed walkways\, parking lots\, or parking spaces\, in addition to some noise.
