An Invitation to Support Reliant Foundation's 21st Annual Drive for a Difference

Reliant Foundation will present its annual Drive for a Difference Golf Classic and Celebration on Monday, May 20, 2019. The Golf Classic will be held at the beautiful Pleasant ValleyCountry Club in Sutton, MA, followed by a post-golf celebration which will include open bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres, VIP seating, a grand raffle, impact video and Fund-A-Need opportunity.This popular spring tradition has raised over $5.4 million to support community health through grant making.
 
Fantastic Golf

On Monday, May 20th our Golf Classic will tee off with a single shotgun at 11:00 am. A
generous barbeque lunch will be served on the course, and complimentary snack and beverage carts will make their rounds to keep you refreshed throughout the day. The golf format will be a scramble. Premium raffle winners will be announced at our new post-golf celebration. Tournament awards will be given in the men’s, women’s, and mixed divisions, and each player will go home with generous tee prizes.

Fund-A-Need
 
You make our work possible, creating a path for our experienced team of staff and volunteers to assess community health needs and respond with a robust community grants program. Your contributions help impact important issues, such as access to mental/behavioral health services for children and youth, and the substance use/opioid abuse issue. Funds may also support other health-focused initiatives, based on community need. Since we began our community grants program in 2008, Reliant Foundation has funded projects or programs at 84 unique non-profit organizations in Central and MetroWest, Massachusetts. In 2018, we gave a total of $500,000 to non-profit organizations in our community, impacting approximately 150,000 individual lives. Recent examples of grants include: capital repairs and renovations for recovery homes, trainings for staff of mental health and behavioral health programs, and funds for new programs and initiatives to increase capacity in these fields. At our post-golf celebration, we will present a current need in our community, and will ask our guests to help fund that need.
