The EcoTarium is excited to announce our newest traveling exhibit, Big League Fun. Come to the official opening and ribbon cutting on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 11:00 am and be among the first to experience this exciting new interactive exhibit!
Visitors will explore the exciting world of baseball in Big League Fun! This highly interactive experience utilizes hands-on simulations of game activities, baseball trivia and more to expose visitors to the sport and the math and science that are an essential part of it.
Programs Schedule:
- 11:00 am — Big League Fun Opening Ceremony
- 11:45 am — One World, One Sky: Big Bird’s Big Adventure! (Planetarium full-dome movie)*
- 12:30 pm — Science Discovery: Science of Sports
- 1:15 pm — Astronomy Live! Tour of the Solar System (Educator-led program in the planetarium)*
- 2:00 pm — Astronomy Live! Space Oddity (Educator-led program in the planetarium)*
- 2:45 pm — Science Discovery: Body Balance
- 3:30 pm — Passport to the Universe (Planetarium full-dome movie)*
- 4:15 pm — Afternoon Astronomy
Ongoing:
- The Dogfather Food Truck: 10:30 am – 3:00 pm
- Mascot Meet & Greet: 11:30am – 12:00pm
- Think Fast! 10 am – 4pm – Table top activity about reaction time
