Creating Workforce Development Pathways

Presented by the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security and Department of Correction
 
SUMMARY
Attendees will hear from a multi-disciplinary team including staff from EOPSS, DOC, Worcester Chamber of Commerce, and Mass Hire, focused on developing regional employment partnerships and preparing incarcerated individuals for successful reentry into the workforce.

Presentations include:

• * Tax incentives and bonding opportunities available to employers when hiring a client
• * New EOPSS/DOC workforce development model prepping clients closest to release for employer in-reach, application, and placement
• * Current partnership and upcoming expansion with Mass Hire under the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development

• * HR professionals with a need to increase their talent pool
• * Hiring managers with open positions
• * Service providers focused on enhancing the workforce in Central Massachusetts.
