Gelatin Printmaking with Botanicals
Gelatin Printmaking with Botanicals This program will be held indoors in one of our well-ventilated classrooms. Group size will not exceed current state restrictions. Friday, April 23, 2021 1:00-3:30 PM $40 members / $55 non-members Instructor: Suzanne Hauerstein Max Participants: 10 Students will use a 5" x 7" gel plate and acrylic paint to create one of a kind botanical prints. We will go over stencil making and use, layering, ghost prints, care of your gel plate and more. Use your prints as artwork, cards, for scrapbooking, bookmaking, collage- the possibilities are endless! Students will bring home thier own gel plate to continue printing at home. All materials will be provided. Suzanne Hauerstein is a professional teaching artist and the Coordinator of Volunteer & Intern Services at Tower Hill. She has over 25 years of experience designing and facilitating art-based programs for informal learning environments. Suzanne is committed to creating programs that are accessible, positive, and enjoyable learning experiences for students of all ages and abilities. Single class scheduled on 4/23/2021 at 1:00PM
