Free seminar for enrolled college students from the region’s 12 colleges and universities which will teach attendees how to write grants making them more marketable to organizations and companies seeking interns and employees with those skills.
What You’ll Learn
Grant Prospect Research-- How to research grant opportunities and develop a list of strong matches with grantmakers and your organization.
Foundation Grants-- Completing a grant application, proposal, or letter of inquiry, ensuring it’s highly competitive and thorough.
Federal and State Grants-- Learn to understand highly technical and involved government grants and ensure the application package meets their rigorous standards.
Writing and Editing-- How to compose a clear message and followed instructions provided by the grantmaker.
Facilitator: Louise Clarke is a professional grant-writer with more than 30 years of experience with 15 of those in the grants office for the Worcester Public Schools.
