How can robotics, advanced imaging and AI shape the futre of surgery? - A Practice Point MedTech Lecture Series
Join Practice Point's first in MedTech Series lecture from industry expert - Bill Peine, PhD - VP of Surgical Research & Technology Leader of Robotics Development Center at Medtronic
The future of healthcare is poised for a transformative shift. Driven by the evolution of surgical robotics, artificial intelligence, and an interconnected ecosystem, health practitioners will be empowered to make procedures more precise, predictable, and personalized. This presentation will explore:
· Robotics Revolution: Explore how endoluminal approaches and telesurgery are enhancing minimally invasive techniques and expanding global access to care.
· Advanced Imaging and Visualization: Discover how patient-specific models and new imaging modalities improve surgical navigation and allow surgeons to "see the unseen."
· AI-Driven Ecosystems: Understand how artificial intelligence is increasing surgical precision, optimizing workflows, and reducing complications through real-time data analysis.
· Integrated Surgical Platforms: Learn how the synergy between robotics, imaging, and AI is creating a more precise, predictable, and personalized future for surgical procedures.
As we continue to push the boundaries of MedTech innovation, the growing synergy between these technologies will make procedures more safe, more efficient, and more accessible – ultimately redefining surgical standards.
