Is there a specific bonsai skill you’d like to hone? In this class we will work on absolutely anything you’d like. From basic repotting to completely restyling your tree and anything in between. May is a great time for doing most of the maintenance that your bonsai trees require. Repotting, wiring, pruning, or just picking out the front of your tree we will cover it all. Bring as many trees as you’d like and, time permitting, we will work on and assist you with everything you need. Potting soil will be available. Joel Mullen is the President of the Kaikou Bonsai Study Group. He has been growing bonsai trees for over 10 years and has trained with artists all over New England. Joel is the Lead Tropical Grower and the Education Coordinator at New England Bonsai Gardens in Bellingham, MA. Program fees help fund Tower Hill’s vision to inspire people and improve the world.
