Discussion with David Alward, Consul General of Canada to New England
The Trump Administration has called for the re-negotiation of the North Atlantic Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). Any renegotiation could have significant financial impact on the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In 2016, 241 Canadian-owned companies operated in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts creating over 26,800 jobs. Massachusetts exports to Canada totaled $3.0 billion. Massachusetts imports from Canada amounted to $7.3 billion.
Join the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce and the College of the Holy Cross for a discussion of the history and future of NAFTA with Canadian Consul General to New England, David Alward.
