Community Harvest Project Plantapalooza Plant Sale opens May 10, 2023 Online orders start May 10 at 8 AM for CHP Monthly Givers, and on May 11 for the rest of the public. Plant pickup will be at the CHP Farm on 37 Wheeler Road, North Grafton on May 19 and 20. Plantapalooza will have heirloom vegetable varieties of tomatoes, peppers, squashes, herbs, annual flowers, berry bushes, and more. To become a Monthly Giver and get early access to Plantapalooza online ordering on May 10, visit the CHP website at www.community-harvest.org/events and sign up prior to April 30, 2023
Community Harvest farms produced 323,375 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables in 2022 which were distributed to food banks, local food pantries, medical meal prep programs, and other emergency food relief agencies throughout eastern and central Massachusetts. Proceeds from Plantapalooza support CHP’s mission to engage and educate volunteers to grow fresh fruits and vegetables for hunger relief.
