The Wachusett Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a 10-day trip to sunny Portugal from March 31 to April 9, 2017. A travel information session with a preview of the trip’s itinerary will be held Tuesday, August 30 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm at the Manor Banquet Facilities, 42 West Boylston Street, West Boylston. The trip is open to all area residents.

 The trip will include stops in Algarve, Alentejo, Lisbon, Cascais and along the Estoril Coast.  Along the way travelers will experience a Fado Dinner Show, five UNESCO World Heritage sights, ancient castles, Roman ruins, protected lagoons, a cooking demonstration and winery tours.

 The trip includes round-trip transportation to and from Logan Airport, roundtrip airfare, hotel accommodations, 14 meals, experienced tour guides, deluxe bus tours, and admission to all tours and attractions. The trip costs $3449 per person based upon double occupancy. The single rate is $3899; the triple is $3419.  Travelers who book before September 30 will save $100.
