Join us for the Power of Women (POW) luncheon event.
Power of Women (POW) meets quarterly from 11:30am - 1:30 p.m.
POW luncheons feature guest speakers and networking opportunities.
The Worcester Women’s History Project (WWHP) at Museum of Worcester (MOW) is hosting a year-long celebration of the momentous first National Women's Rights Convention held at Brinley Hall on Main Street in 1850. It is considered to be the true catalyst for organized activity for the women's rights movement, not just here in the United States, but abroad as well. The 175th celebration will include planned events that will be held across the city through October 2025, and will involve scholars, performers, and historians from Worcester and beyond.
Museum of Worcester is the only local organization dedicated to collecting, preserving, and interpreting Worcester’s history in all time periods and subject areas for all audiences, offering exhibitions, programming, and a library for all residents to know, enjoy, and share their heritage. In 2024, Worcester Women’s History Project merged with the Museum of Worcester.
