REC Annual Farm Party and 50th Anniversary Celebration
Join the Regional Environmental Council at their annual Farm Party where they will be celebrating their 50th anniversary with live music, activities for kids, delicious local food and beverages, a raffle, and youth led tours of their YouthGROW urban farm.
All proceeds from the Farm Party will support the REC’s Community and Mobile Farmers Markets that bring fresh, affordable, local produce to 17 locations each week in neighborhoods in Worcester, Webster, and Southbridge; the 65 UGROW community and school gardens that
are provided with ongoing free resources, training and support; the YouthGROW employment
and leadership development program for Worcester teens centered around 2 urban farms in
Worcester’s Main South and Bell Hill neighborhoods; and will help fuel their mission to bring people together to build a just food system and create healthy, sustainable, and equitable
communities in Worcester and beyond!
