Since 1989, the Regional Environmental Council has partnered with caring residents and local businesses to clean-up and beautify sites in Worcester’s neighborhoods, parks, and business districts.
Our 2022 event recruited over 1,000 volunteers who cleaned-up at more than 70 sites. At the end of the day, the Worcester Department of Public Works and Parks kindly removed all of the trash from those sites. Our goal for the 33rd Annual Earth Day Cleanup is to recruit 1,200 volunteers to clean-up 70 sites around Worcester.
Clean-ups will begin at 8:00 am and will be followed by a cook-out, with live entertainment, games, activities, and farm tours, at our YouthGROW farm and REC office at 42 Lagrange Street at noon.
Volunteer registration is open! Register yourself or your team today! The REC will provide you with all the supplies you will need to clean up your site.
