Seminar Series: Mass. Dept. of Revenue Reporting for Businesses: A Primer
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
This program, presented by the Massachusetts Department of Revenue will provide information for employers about resources available through the Employer Services Unit.
This interactive discussion will provide employers the opportunity to ask questions or provide suggestions especially with regard to income withholding, medical support, and new hire reporting. Employers play a vital role in helping to ensure the financial security of millions of our nation’s children. In fact, more than 70% of all child support payments collected by the Child Support Enforcement Division of the Mass. DOR are made by income withholding.

for Child Support (a form mandated by federal law);
• New hire reporting and options including multistate employers
• National medical support notice;
• Electronic IWO’s and multiple ways to remit payments;
• How to handle independent contractors and other sources of income we can garnish;
• How employees know about income withholding;
• Reporting obligations including: Who must be reported? Is it mandatory for
