​"Reducing Risk and Reaping Reward: How to Control Unemployment Costs”

Attendees will learn how to identify and master key issues necessary to successfully mitigate and reduce unemployment risks and direct costs. Meghan will review proper policy enforcement, effective claims management and the importance of "timely, accurate and complete" response to state agencies. Those attending will learn how to obtain more favorable decisions, while also providing affirmative and clear guidance to employees who are issued corrective action. Meghan will explore common employer separations and how to best present those cases in the unemployment process. These techniques will ensure attendees are well positioned to defend their employers when unemployment disputes arise.
