Engineer, scientist, entrepreneur, and considered one of the most prolific inventors in the history or medicine (The Edison of Medicine), Robert Langer will share his journey-from the discovery of the first angiogenesis inhibitors to the development of controlled drug delivery systems and the foundation of tissue engineering. Don’t miss his inspiring reflections on how an unwavering commitment to his purpose has sustained him through rejection, criticism, and disappointments. The lecture will take place from 5:00 to 6:00 pm on Monday, March 16, with a reception immediately following. Parking for the lecture will be available in WPI's Park Avenue Garage.
