Ranger Marcy’s Acorn Adventure! Killingly Trails & Library Book Scavenger Hunt! Monday, July 18th, 10 -11:30am at Killingly River Trail, Junctions of Routes 6 & 12, Killingly, CT. (park behind water treatment center.) July is here! Summer vacations are a great time to explore your 35 town National Heritage Corridor. Ms. Allison from the Killingly Public Library has invited us to join her for an Acorn Adventure on the paved trail that runs along the Quinebaug River. We’ll start out reading the book “Treasure Hunt” by the river, then have a treasure hunt of our own finding things along the trail! Snacks, Acorn stickers & fresh air FUN always included! Dress for the weather (wear proper shoes & maybe a hat.) Bring your family, friends, & bug spray! FREE! All ages welcome. Explore, visit, engage & connect with the things that make our National Heritage Corridor special, like our trails, librarians, and towns! Strollers are welcome. Leashed dogs welcome.
