Ranger Marcy’s Acorn Adventure! Southbridge Scavenger Hunt at McKinstry Brook Trail-North! Sunday, June 12th, 1-2:30pm at McKinstry Brook-North, 562-570 Pleasant St., Southbridge, MA Did you know Southbridge is celebrating their 200th Year?! True story and the Acorns will unite at the McKinstry Brook Trail-North to have a bicentennial scavenger hunt! Join us Sunday, June 12th, 2016 from 1-2:30 pm at the McKinstry Brook-North Trail, parking on the street at 362-370 Pleasant Street, which is located off Rte. 131 and near the Southbridge Airport. Look for the Acorn Adventure sign. This trail was split in half during the tornado that ripped through the area a few years ago, and we will walk the Brook to where we can go no further, on the northern section of the trail. The scavenger hunt will tie in to the town's 200th year, and we may find some surprises in our hunts, since a woods trail along a brook is always full of surprises! Snacks, Acorn stickers & fresh air FUN always included! Bring your family, friends, bug spray & scavenger hunting skills! FREE! All ages welcome.
