Large institutions have significant buying power and with that comes procurement departments with policies and procedures. Tapping into
the region’s anchor institutions, such as our colleges and universities,
to grow your business can be a challenge. This panel will help explain some of the systems in place as well as the process.
Buying local has a huge impact on our local economy. Our colleges are some of our largest purchasers of goods and services and are committed to Worcester’s growth and success.
This seminar will teach you how to navigate the systems in place to be considered as a vendor and leverage their purchasing power. Attendees will learn how vendors are identified and selected, what goes into a
proposal review, and the negotiation process.
