We are looking for a full-time Senior Software Engineer with full-stack development experience preferably in C# .NET. Someone who would enjoy joining a dynamic landscape and leading a team around a new set of high-tech products in the manufacturing sector. We are building fully integrated process monitoring and control systems for additive manufacturing and aluminum recycling industries. We are fully funded with vetted prototypes ready to start building and launching our production-ready platforms. We are offering an opportunity to break the mold of a big organization and join a team that is passionate about technology, impact, and innovation. As a Senior Software Engineer with Solvus Global you will work with team members from many fields (mechanical, controls, software, data science etc.) to define the problem space, propose a solution, design the architecture, lead projects, and support development of the final product.

Required Attributes & Skills
  • Minimum 5 years’ work experience (excluding internships)
  • Must be a US Person according to FAR22 CFR 120.15 - US Person
  • Minimum 3 years’ development experience in C# .NET or 5 years’ experience using a similar language (Java, C, C++)
  • Strong Object-Oriented Programming knowledge.
  • Solid understanding of common software design patterns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with cloud services like Azure and AWS.
Advantageous Attributes & Skills
  • Experience in with IIOT and device communication protocols.
  • JavaScript, Electron, React or comparable
  • Machine learning and/or data science experience
  • Experience with government software deployment
  • An understanding of the business value of software in hard-tech (e.g. manufacturing)
  • Experience deploying software products in the ‘hard-tech’ world
