From Policy to Practice: Creating Trauma-Informed Environments for Everyone
Trauma-informed care is more than a clinical intervention. It's a framework for creating environments where people feel safe, respected, and empowered.
This 6-hour continuing education training, led by Julie Orozco, LICSW, goes beyond direct client work to explore how trauma-informed principles shape supervision, leadership, and everyday workplace culture. You'll leave with practical tools to strengthen relationships, foster psychological safety, support workforce well-being, and build environments where both professionals and the people they serve can thrive.
This training is open to social workers, mental health counselors, marriage and family therapists, substance use professionals, case managers, housing professionals, healthcare professionals, nonprofit leaders, supervisors, managers, and students entering the helping professions.
Approved for 6 CE hours for Massachusetts licensed social workers. Participants from other disciplines are welcome to attend, but CE approval has only been obtained for Massachusetts social workers. Please confirm eligibility with your own licensing board.
